While aesthetically pleasing, Polyvision® smart glass requires upkeep to keep it looking clear and performing at it’s best. Standard commercial cleaners will keep your glass clean but if you want something a bit more eco-friendly, here is a great cleaner that you can make yourself.
Eco-Friendly Smart Glass Cleaner
In a spray bottle, combine:
- 2 cups of warm water;
- ¼ cup rubbing alcohol;
- ¼ cup white vinegar; and
- 1 tablespoon of cornstarch.
Shake well before using to keep the cornstarch from settling.
Of course, always clean the glass with a microfibre cloth to remove dust before you start.
Then, spray the glass with the solution. Allow the cleaner to sit for a minute or so to dissolve the grease and grime on the glass.
Lastly, polish the glass with dry newspaper to leave a clean finish with no streaks.
